I have enjoyed coming to Gege Salon.  She has been very patient and caring when braiding my daughter’s hair.  She is very professional and kind.  She cares for her client’s hair.  Her shop is always clean and neat.  I hope she stays in Schaumburg for a very long time.

I would highly recommend Gege’s Hair Salon.  I’ve been her customer since she opened in 1995 and I’m satisfied with her work.  She’s very talented and creative and quite reasonable compared to other salons.  If you’re looking for a beautician go to Gege because she will give you the most for your money and you won’t be disappointed.  I receive compliments often from her work.  I recommend her to all of my friends.  Gege is worth the trip.

I came to Gege’s in July 2001 determined and skeptical.  I was determined to get braids but skeptical of how I would like them.  Little did I know that I would return again and again.  I had heard about the length of time it would take for the particular style I wanted and wondered if I could sit for that long.  I sit down, Gege starts talking, we laugh, I listen when Gege tells me about her home in Africa, and then I teach Gege about things here in America.  Before I know it, Gege is done with my braids.  Gege knows my personality and does my braids accordingly.  I always leave with a smile.
