The singer and songwriter for the Visual Kei band, Clothoid+Doll,  Youka, or "Rinne", as she is also called, is a compelling individual.  Not only is she beautiful and multi-talented (she designs her own clothing and makeup, and graphically enhances her photos), but she displays an uncommon drive and ambition, as well.      Pulling from musical influences such as Laputa, Rinne's lyrics are dark and poetic.  You can find lyrics to all of Clothoid+Doll's songs on their homepage, but unfortunately there are no music samples to be found.

Although their first demo tape (pictured here) has sold out completely, they have not been able to put out an EP or a CD yet.  After many changes, Clothoid+Doll has a new drummer and guitarist, and a new demo tape (available on the band's site, I believe).  Since they have posted a "live" schedule, I think they have resumed band activity as well!      Also, be sure to check out their website for other goodies, as well!  They now have an official e-newsletter, and Youka has posted a "Visual Kei beauty how-to" section on the site.
