The Myth about Noah

The world started with Noah. He had three sons: Sim, Ham, and Ahed. Our personal pronoun, first person, singular is ME SIM. So we are apparently descendent of Sim.

The other son, Ham, had a son called Hanan. His father swore him to be a servant to his brothers. And it really became so. ‘HAN’ ‘AN’ means ‘dig’ and ‘carry.’ And he became a slave to his brothers.

Abraham had two children – Isaac and Ismail. Ismail was chased away and Isaac married to Eurica. She got pregnant with two children. When she started to deliver the children, one of them was going out while the other one was holding him for the leg and did not let him out, because it was bigger and stronger. It was born first. They called him Isah. He was hairy and ugly. After this Jacob was born. ‘JAC’ and ‘OB’ mean fire, so he was a fiery man. Isah became the favourite of his father, because he was the firstborn child. And Jacob became the favourite of his mother.

The years passed. The father became very old and he had to bless the children. He told his wife:

‘Call the firstborn son to bless him!’

And she told the younger son:

‘Go and take a jacket from a goat but put it with the hairs out. Your father will touch you! He can not see any more, so he would think you are the firstborn son and he would give you the blessing!’

‘What about the sin?’ – Jacob asked.

‘Let the sin fall on me!’ – the mother answered.

And they did so. Jacob put a goat jacket on, but with the hairs out, and the father thought it was the firstborn son. He gave him his whole blessing.

When Jacob met God, the later told him:

‘From now on you will be called Israel. The means the hairy.’

This is the origin of the name Israel.
