Crinia tinnula - Wallum Froglet

Identification:
Length 20 mm. Highly variable brownish or greyish frog; back smooth, warty
or ridged; underside granular with uniform dull grey and fine mottling or
flecking and usually a narrow white line from chin down to belly. Fingers
and toes long and unwebbed.
Habitat and Range: Restricted to the acidic paperbark swamps in the wallum areas of Bribie, Moreton and Stradbroke Islands and a few pockets on adjacent mainland. Coastal south eastern Qld and northern NSW.
Mating Call:
Short high pitched ringing "tching-tching". 101 K![]()
Spawn:
Small eggs, 1.1-1.2 mm, laid in clumps attached to submerged vegetation,
in static water.

Short tailed, fat bodied tadpoles with low tail fins
