We Want You!

   Come join us at one of our meetings.  You will find that we are not your mother's DAR chapter.  Our Chapter membership includes both working and retired ladies.  We don't sit around sipping tea. We are active within the communities of Debary and Deltona.  We work with our local schools, Veterans, Osteen Cemetery Preservation, and community patriotic events.

What type of commitment is involved with joining a local chapter?

   We meet once a month and service with our group is based upon the individual member.  Some members choose to attend every meeting while others may be able to volunteer their time only to one special committee or project.  Some members do both.  We all lead busy lives beyond our involvement with our local chapter and we do what we can whenever we are able.

    So come meet us, and we will introduce you to our Registrar, who will assist you in gaining the necessary documentation needed to complete the application of membership.  Sound daunting? Don't worry! There are many members who are eager to assist you.  If you have a relative who is or was a member of the DAR,, we might be able to use some of her information to complete your lineage.  So what are you waiting for?
