'METHODS OF PAYMENT' for Aussie CLIENTS.
Sometimes the world seems very small... other times?
Buying
nice Antique or Estate Jewellery items is easy. The hardest part is arranging to
pay for it, and although is seems too much trouble at first, once done, it
becomes easier. A bit like falling in love!
Firstly,
we are sorry because we do not take credit cards.
As we have many clients from all over Australia, most of them solve the problem in one
of several ways. Here are some suggestions which you might like to consider:
1:
The easiest and FASTEST method of payment is Australia Post Money Orders. They
are treated as cash and we dispatch same day

Another method is a bank cheque/draft. Both of these methods are shipped within
24 hours after payment arrives.

Many of our clients actually send cash!!!
Yes I know that sounds stupid, but as long as you have a secure postal envelope
such as registered post...which you can insure...and list the contents as
documents??? Just wrap the money in some cut newspaper. It works.
This is ideal for smaller priced (under $100) items.
4: If you require the items in a rush, the Post office
also does an electronic funds transfer for about a $20 fee. We receive the
payment within one hour and dispatch immediately. Great for those last minute
panic gifts you forgot to buy!
5: Business cheques
and Personal cheques are okay, but we do wait five working days (1 week) for the
payment to clear before dispatch. Once we have dealt with you several times and
you become a 'Valued and Favoured client' we generally dispatch same day then.
Postage is a flat rate
$4.95 for items up to AUD$95 in value. For items over $95 the price is $9.95
which included insurance and postage by registered post.
We are finding mail from Western Australia and Queensland is taking approx
5 days
to reach us with an insured package back to you taking approx 7 days,
as they have to sign for it etc, which somehow seems to slow the postie down!!!
The rest of Australia is a 3 day turnaround, unless your in the back of the
black stump somewhere (we have had a few).
We will hold the
item(s) for 5 working days (one week) pending receipt of your payment. Thank
