Obituary

     "Leander N. Reeves, son of L. D. and Ruth Reeves, was born in Meigs county, Ohio, November 3, 1853, and died at his home Columbus, Ohio, October 9, 1909, aged 55 years, 11 months and 6 days.
     He was twice married, his first union being with Elizabeth Walter, to which was born two children. After the death of his first wife he married Anna Radford, daughter of John and Lois Radford, formerly of Bedford township, this county. To this union was born five children who survived him, as do also two children of the former marriage, and the wife of his second marriage.
     He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church at Downington, O., and died in that faith.
     The funeral took place at Downington, conducted by Rev. F. T. Snoots.
     Some day, we say, and turn our eyes to the fair hills of paradise.
     Some day, some time, a strange new rest shall blossom flower-like in each breast.
     Some day, some time, our eyes shall see the faces kept in memory.
     Some day these hands shall grasp our dear brothers hand just over in the morning land."
