WILLIAM REEVES, Jr.
and
ELIZABETH OSTLER
"WILLIAM REEVES was born about 1703, and died after 1767, but before 1773. He married about 1719, Elizabeth Ostler, who died after February 28, 1760, at which time Jacob Garwood wrote his will in which he says, ‘Item, I give to Elizabeth Reeves, wife of William Reeves, my deceased wife’s sister, the sum of 12 pounds and if she should die before me then the said moneys to be divided among my surviving children.’ He died before March 2, 1761, when his will was proved, and the account of the estate gives no record of payment of her legacy so we assume she died before him. Jacob Garwood married in 1720 in Friends’ Meeting in Burlington, Eleanor Ostler."
