OBITUARY:
Mary Grace McGrawMary Grace McGraw, 87 died at 11:25 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, 1982, at Mt.
Carmel Medical Center after an illness of several months.
She was born May 12, 1895, in Frontenac to Eugene and Lucy Sweeney McGraw.
Miss McGraw was a milliner by trade, starting the Shadwell Shop in Kansas
City, Mo. She later moved back to Pittsburg to make her home.
She was a member of Our Lady Of Lourdes Church and the Alter Society.
Survivors include two sisters, Norah Ahrens of 712 N. Joplin and Lucy Bach of
102 E. Fifth; one brother, Bernard McGraw of Port Ricky, Fla.; several nieces
and nephews; and several grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Her parents and two brothers, George McGraw of Independence, and Eugene
McGraw of Pittsburg, died before her.
Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church
with the Rev. Ivan Eck officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
The rosary will be at 7 p.m. today at the McGavran-Quinn Chapel. The family
will receive friends at the funeral home after 1 p.m. today.
