This page is lovingly dedicated to our very best friends, Lee and Sintija Himel. I first met them when Daniel was only a couple of weeks old and Kevin had friends over for game night. They are the most warm, sincere, giving and wonderful people I have had the pleasure of knowing in my life.

Sintija met her knight in shining armor at Medeival Times after coming to the U.S. from Latvia. The Latvian beauty and the dashing knight fell in love and married, almost completing the fairy tale...

Lee and Sintija are the only two people I have ever met that were truly parents waiting for a child (not coincidentally they are also one of the few people that I trust completely to care for my boys). Finally in 2005, they were blessed with the arrival of Heidi!

Despite the long drive, Sintija and Lee brought Heidi to visit us a few weeks after she was born. The boys absolutely adore her and Austin wants to hold her all the time!

I hope to add more as soon as they come over this weekend provided hurricane Rita dosen't put a crimp in our plans!
