You may not know it, but right this second you are missing a tremendous opportunity. What would you ask a bona-fide genius if you had the chance? What wisdom would you want to draw from him? What would you give to have his knowledge touch your life situations? There used to be an oft used cliché of people climbing mountains in the far east to sit at the feet of a guru and ask him the meaning of life. Now, with the power of the Internet, there is no need to travel half way around the world, no need to torture yourself or spend years proving you are worthy to receive. Now, with the power of the Internet, the worlds greatest minds are literally at your fingertips!Right now, right at this moment, Gene Nash has an Internet talk show (GeneNash.com Radio) at GiveMeTalk.com that is basically him sitting and talking to you on different topics. It's probably as close as you will ever get to sitting down and having a face to face chat with him. It's designed to be extemporaneous and off the top of his head. For many of you it may be as close as you get to having a face to face chat with any genius. In addition to that, you can email him and interact regarding the program. And lately he has even been giving out a phone number at the end of the broadcast so that you can call and leave him messages.
Think about that for a moment. At the beginning of this article I asked you, "What would you ask a genius if you had the chance?" Here is your chance! Will you take it, or will you be like so many who squander the opportunities life gives them?I believe one of the reasons new episodes have been so sparse in coming is that we have not been sucking the information out of Gene. It's in there! There is all the wisdom and knowledge just sitting in there, waiting to be tapped. Will you tap it? There may be plenty of oil under your house, but it won't do you a bit of good if you don't drill. A man will die of thirst laying just 100 feet above a never-ending underground spring because he never bothered to dig. Will you tap this resource?
"When the student is ready the master appears." Ancient Proverb I'm telling you, if you're ready, the master is here. The question is how long will it last? How long before Gene becomes so consumed by other projects and other obligations that he is no longer able to be so open and available to his listeners and website readers? Now is the time to seize this opportunity before it is gone forever!
Update: My article was all too precipitous. GiveMeTalk.com has gone out of business taking the show down with it. The last episode is still available at genenash.com, but the previous episodes (which had been archived at GiveMeTalk) are not available there.
Update #2: I just noticed the email links at genenash.com has been deactivated. The address is still up (the "@" replaced by a graphic, maybe to thwart SPAM software), but I can't help but wonder how long it will be before even that has been replaced. You'd better seize this opportunity while you can for it is ever closer to being gone!
