General Intelligence :
1. The mailing list is for both business and technical discussions.
2. Discussions are informal so feel free to use it like a chat room. It is OK to ask questions like what happened recently etc.
3. To join the mailing list, please visit Google Groups: General-Intelligence and sign up, and wait for approval.
4. Members are free to browse the messages but a better way is to introduce yourself briefly when you join.
5. For the privacy of other members, please do not disclose business-related information to outsiders.

If you'd like to join a NON-profit opensource project, you may try joining this list and see if you can incite some activity there. The list is pretty dead now. I'd be spending most of my time on the FOR-profit list. ]
