This bag is designed to sling over one shoulder. The strap is attached to the front of the bag, goes through a slit in the bag's cover, and through a belt loop. It velcroes back on itself, creating an adjustable strap that always holds your bag closed! The patch on the front cover is a small pocket, and the inside lining includes a cell phone pocket, a pen pocket, and another pocket for all that little stuff that always sifts to the bottom.
