Witnesseth: That for and in consideration of the sum of one Hundred Dollars to be paid to JOSIE E. JANES, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged and the further interest of second party in the estate of the late GRANVILLE ESTES, deceased; the said first parties hereby bargain and sell and do here alien and convey to the said second party his heirs or assigns, to have and to hold for an undivided five sixth interest with and to the following Lands which are a part of the lands that were conveyed by the said GRANVILLE ESTES, deceased; by AMANDA B. GRISSOM on the 13th day of FeBruary 1892, which Deed is recorded in the office of the Adair Court -------in Deed book No. 8, at page---the lands herein conveyed being in three seperate tracts which are bounded as follows:
Tract No. 1 Beginning at a stone in S. E. ESTES line, near SAM ESTES dogwood corner; thence N 4 W 19 1/2 poles to a stone on the east side of the road; thence N 39 E 18 poles to a stone; thence N 6 W 8 poles to a dogwood; thence N 84 E 13 1/2 poles to a stone corner; thence S 36 poles to a stone; thence W 24 1/2 poles to the beginning and containing four and one half acres, more or less.
Tract No 2: Beginning at a stone corner of S. E. ESTES land on he west side of the main road; thence N 4 W 19 1/4 poles to a stone; thence E 20 poles to a stone; thence S 13 1/2 poles to a stone; thence SW 4 poles to a stone; thence SE 1 pole to a stone; thence SW 4 3/4 poles to a stone corner; thence W 22 poles to a stone in BILL HUNTER'S line; thence N 3 poles to a stone in S. E. ESTES line; thence E 7 poles to the beginning and containing 2 1/2 acres more or less.
Tract No. 3: Beginning at a beech BOB WILSON'S corner near a branch thence up the branch N 10 E 25 poles to a beech at the forks of the branch; thence up another branch N 65 E 32 poles to a large beech at a small bluff; thence N 78 E 14 poles to a stone at the side of a road; thence S 14 poles to a maple SAM ESTES corner; thence with his line S 74 poles to a beech near the branch; thence up a branch N 39 W 20 poles to a stake on the bank of the branch; thence N 4 W 23 poles to the beginning and containing 13 acres more or less.
Now the said first parties hereby bind themselves their heirs or Administrators to warrent and legend the title to the aforesaid lands together with any and all appurtenances thereto belonging to the said first party his heirs or assigns against any and all claims whatever the said lands being the undivided five sixths interest in said lands that said first parties inherited from the said GRANVILLE ESTES, deceased, and in witness hereof the said first parties have hereunto attached their signatures upon the day and date first above written.
