Bedazzled

This is a cute and entertaining movie about an awkward, lonely but lovable (eventually) geek who makes a deal with the devil to get the woman he loves. The deal is he gets seven wishes after which she gets his soul.

It is a remake of the Dudley Moore/Peter Cook movie of the same name from 1968. In the Moore/Cook version, Dudley is a short order cook and Peter is the devil (perfect part for his dry wit). I saw parts of this movie long ago and what I saw was very funny.

Back to Bedazzled (new) it stars Brendan Fraser (geek) and Elizabeth Hurley (devil). Both are good in their parts. The wishes are entertaining, especially the way they turn out but the results do get a little predictable, I did wonder why he didn't catch on earlier. But it was fun and OK for younger teens too, not to suggestive, even with Elizabeth Hurley's wardrobe.
