co-producer and star, Clint Eastwood stars as a retired astronaut,
Frank Corvin.
After an
armed satellite that Covin helped design (back in the 60's) goes awry
Corvin is asked to come out of retirement and fix it. As fate would
have it, he is the only one still alive with the expertise to do so.
After negotiating to have some of his "hot shot pilot" friends from
the 60s assigned to join the mission they are off.

line...fix the satellite and save the world.
