This summer, in trying to find a movie that was fun for me macho enough for my husband and acceptable for my 80 year old mother in law, I settled for the movie The Kid.
We all had many reservations abut this movie and we were all, pleasantly surprised.
There was a story line involving different time lines, great for me. Bruce Willis was a high powered executive aka a strong male figure for my husband and a charming story line of romance for my Mother-in-Law. With its PG rating you can even try bring the kids to this one.
Child star Spencer Bresline plays the younger Bruce Willis. We all agreed that he turned out to be a real surprise. We were sure he was gonna bring the movie down. I am happy to report that he didn't and he was in fact quite good.
I fear because this movie was a nice movie it will be short lived in the theaters. Most likely gone by the time I get this posted. So, if you don't see it soon you will have to wait for the video.
If you remember this movie is a charming movie, a Disney movie, not the hold your breath while sitting on the edge of your seat kind of movie and you will like it.
**Oh, and if you want to know the answer to the "Why is the moon sometimes orange?" question, you have to wait through the credits of the movie to get the answer.
