The Genius 2000 Project is pleased to announce the results of our first annual conference on the topic of "The Mechanical Reproduction of Age in the Art of Work." Only four papers were submitted, so we have had to cancel all awards except the Golden Palm for Career Achievement. This honorary award was garnered by Eryk Salvaggio, well known for his work on 138.org, Absolut Net.Art, Wombathussy, the Pink Heart-Shaped Cookie Club, Fluxus Midwest, and other on and offline projects.

Notes on other Presenters:

Ian Allen is an artist and writer living in Northern California. He has created several websites dating back to the earliest inception of the url. His musical works include the classic Eighties noise band Negativland.

Max Herman is the nominal leader of the Genius 2000 Project. He also produced Yes/No for the web as part of Pointproject 1999. Watch for his upcoming Magnum Opus, January 1 Website, set for release on January 1.

M. River and T. Whid are major partners in MTAA Productions, whose recent works include Web Site Unseen, the School of Conceptual Clay, VATV, and other excursions into the readymade.
