Happy Shell: This can be purchased at the Marrymore Inn/Item Shop and the Seaside Town Weapons and Armor Shop for 38 coins. It increases Defense by six points and Magic Defense by three points. Courage Shell: This can be purchased at the Monstro Town Weapons and Armor Shop for 60 coins. It increases Defense by 12 points and Magic Defense by six points. Fire Shell: This can be purchased at the Hino Mart in the Barrel Volcano and from Croco in Bowser's Keep for 90 coins. It increases Defense by 18 points and Magic Defense by nine points. Heal Shell: This can be purchased from Croco in his second Bowser's Keep location for 100 coins. It increases Defense by 24 points and Magic Defense by 12 points.
