When in Naas:
Do:
drink as much as u can.....the blank spots make it a much better experience
leave as soon as possible....it's 4 your own good...........
get laid as much as possible but see "don'ts list" 4 extra advice..
check out the local history.....It's boring but it's relatively safe......
get involved in local discussion groups at all the local pubs and clubs......also see "don'ts list"
if at any time, u feel "comfortable" please remember that this feeling goes away...it just takes time.....
don't at any cost.....
get involved in local arguments.......this includes politics, religion,the weather, horses, life, women, men, sport, alchohol and many more.....
don't, under any circumstance drink anyone elses beer.....this 2 can be difficult as sometimes this includes beer that u have bought and paid 4...
(i am not 2 sure of the exact def. of "my beer".)
ask anyone elses girlfriend out 2 dance, back 2 your place or 2 make coffee 4 u in the morning.......
as with the beer the definition of "my girlfriend" seems 2 be very abstract
Use big words like "windowsill" as this can cause confusion among the local populace.....u would be better 2 stick with shorter words lik "beer"; "mine"; "me"; "ME!"; "now" and of course "UPISSOFFANDLEAVEMEANDMINEALONE"
altho' this is one of the longest words i know people here don't seem 2 have a problem either saying it or understanding it.........
stand out from the crowd at all and in a typically small town way, u will become a target 4 derision and abuse......my only advice 2 u here is keep your head down and hope 4 the best.......i'm sorry that i haven't got any more information on that subject but i am currently researching and compiling my final report........
even if u get offered substance in almost every bar in town never, never say 2 anyone that u think "Naas is just a suburb of Dublin with the associated drug and drug related problems!!!
