DCU Limericks
    By Gen X

    Bludhaven City Limericks:

There once was a man from Bludhaven,
Who decided to move and give in.
    When he caught the bus,
    His reason was thus:
"It is my own life I'll be savin'."

    Bludhaven is coarse and vile,
Living here, just raises my bile.
    But still I remain.
    It's Nightwing's domain:
    A difference he'll make in a while.

    Bludhaven P.D. Limericks:

With the police: the Billionaire's son,
He joined not of lark, but 'wing found fun.
    Through the course he flew;
    Now a boy in blue.
Look out! The boy wonder has a gun!

There once was a rookie named Grayson,
Who trained each day with the morning sun.
    One day he woke sore,
    Blamed 'wing the night 'fore.
That day, he was not first in the run.

    Corruption runs deep in B.P.D.
Criminals, far as the eye can see:
    Soames, Desmond, and Minh,
    Chief Redhorn within.
Is Nightwing our lone savior to be?

    Character Limericks:

There once was a Doctor H. Quinzel,
Who dove into a psychotic hell.
    She donned red and black
    Mr. J at her back
Eventually, she'll be in a cell.

Once there was a girl, I call her Babs.
I can't help it, on her, I keep tabs.
    Her worth, she can't see,
    Is unchanged to me.
She's scared, but I'll wait, 'til she's for grabs.

Reborn is she, with a brand new name,
No matter, she'll always be the same.
    She keeps me away,
    Stubbornly, I stay.
One day, my true love, I will reclaim.

The Batman was in a quandary.
The foe was puzzling and quite tawdry.
    They fought at full speed,
    'Til Bruce did concede.
"Alfred, how do you start the laundry?"

There once was a bloke name o' Valley,
Who fought some bad guys without dally.
    A hero in his right,
    defending each night.
Az needs some breaks, like trips to Bali.

    Cirucs Limericks:

Ladies and Gentlemen, if you please.
You will see art for our modest fees.
    Look, high in the air!
    An act without fear.
The Flying Graysons on the trapeeze.

Watch John, Mary, and little Dicky,
Performing feats so tough and ticky.
    But wait! Look! The wire!
    Consequence dire.
    It's true, what's said, Death isn't picky.

    Feminism Limericks:

Women heroes have oodles of sass,
These are gals you don't want to harass.
    But mind what you say,
    If they come your way.
Remember these girls can kick your ass!

The weaker sex can't be the females,
    Their bravery never ever pales.
    They've fought many crimes,
    Saved the world ten times.
And they do all of it in high heels!

Most female heroes are drawn to tease,
Are their only settings: cute and sleaze?
    But if it don't change,
    Could artists arrange,
Male turnabout to end women's pleas?

Female costumes are better than guys,
    Bulletproof braclets and fishnet thighs.
    The baubbles have use,
    When all hell breaks loose.
These femmes know how to accessorize.

    Lovelife Limericks:

"You're some role model," Dick did profess,
    "Catwoman. Talia. Maybe it's stress.
    The women you know,
    You're love life is woe.
    Despite your example: mine's success."

Bruce just shrugged in silent acquiesce.
"You want to compare son? Please, say yes."
    "I've nothing to fear."
    Bruce just smirked with cheer,
"Least I didn't sleep with the Huntress."
