Divine Principle and Christian Doctrine

(From Page 1)
of his words? ,p> Throughout the two millennia of Christendom, multiple doctrines of all persuasions have arisen in the Church. Tensions and conflicts surrounding many of these have wrought great divisions within the structure of the Church and among its leadership. Prominent are the schisms of Eastern Orthodoxy and Catholicism, Protestants and Catholic. In the body as a whole, Conservative and Liberal doctrines are pitted against each other. Today, in the Church, there stands over a thousand sects and denominations. Due to this reality, doctrinal views run the gamut of scriptural interpretations. We will, however, look at the generally accepted conventional view on Christology, certain points of eschatology (end times), predestination, resurrection, and the Second Coming. Although these are exhaustive topics, we will attempt to deal laconically with each area.

The Divine Principle, as I have repeatedly stated, is a new revelation from God for our present age (the Completed Testament age). In presenting the Divine Principle perspective on the above topics, we hope that a more accurate knowledge and understanding of God’s nature, His purpose and relationship to man can be attained. We humbly request our readers’ prayerful heart and open-mindedness in considering and evaluating the Divine Principle revelation which seeks to guide fallen humanity back into the light of God’s original ideal.

Holy Land Pilgrimages of Peace on Target

What began with about 130 Christian clergy from across America, and later was reciprocated by an equal number of Muslim and Jewish clergy in the Holy Land, has now expanded to thousands of peace-loving leaders from around the world. After 12 major pilgrimages, prominent political and religious Israeli and Palestinian leaders, and countless number of conflict-torn families on both sides are very hopeful for peace. The conclusion: God has been guiding all these events.

"Family's Forever" Corner

“A husband is to raise up his wife as his younger sister, to love her as his bride, and to serve her as his mother. He is to love his wife in the order of, younger sister, older sister, bride and mother. By going through this course, we can restore the love that God lost due to the fall.

What do you have to love first in order to love your nation? A man should be able to love one woman, considering her to be a chosen representative of all the women in the nation. The same is true for a woman. When the two representative of all men and women become one and establish a family, that family belongs to Heaven.
