My Chronological Pets

1. When I was about 6 years old, my family bought a guinea pig. His name was Musky. We had him for maybe a year. Then we had to give him away because we were all allergic to it.
2. My family then got a mutt dog named Mugsy during most of my childhood. He was kind of nasty, but not too bad. He lived about 10 years before we had to put him asleep because of cancer..
3. Then, my family acquired a beagle/hound-mixed puppy from an animal shelter. His name is Rugby, and he is about 10 years old now.
4. I next bought a fancy hamster named Stimpleton, or "Stimpy." I kept him at college for most of the year. He passed away after about 1.5 years.
5. My mother then purchased a bichon frise puppy for herself. Her name is Abby. She is about 5 years old now.
6. During my last year at college, I bought the animal I'd always dreamed of owning: a chinchilla. His name was Chewy. He died of unknown causes after about 2.5 years.
7. I then purchased a baby ball python named Maximillian for a classroom pet. He never ate on his own. I force fed him for about 3 months before he died.
8. I also purchased a scorpion named Maverick for school. I never handled him once. He died after about a year.
9. I set up a saltwater fish tank for my classroom in hopes of getting an octopus. After waiting 6 months for the tank to cycle, I then ordered a bimac octopus, Omar, from California. He was awesome, but died after about 1 month. I then ordered another one 6 months later, who also lasted about one month.
 10. My current classroom pets are: a dirty-white colored ferret named Falcore, a ball python named Maximillian (II), two green anole lizards, and various fish, shrimp, snails, crabs, and a lobster in my fish tank.
 11. My brother bought a purebred Beagle named Bilbo Duggins, who we call "Doogie." He is a great dog, although he still gets himself in trouble as dogs like to do.
