I facilitate faculty workshops, support My CR (Sakai), design workshop curricula and create instructional materials for faculty. I also consult one-one-one with faculty for curriculum design, educational technology, and distance learning.

I taught English 95, a developmental college composition and reading class. I also created the hybrid online version of this class for the college.

I taught faculty technology workshops, supported Blackboard, designed workshop curriculum and created instructional materials for faculty. I also consulted one-one-one with faculty for curriculum design, educational technology, and distance learning.

I taught summer school for 4th and 5th grades combined for Soledad Unified School District. Developed and created lesson plans, curriculum, and portfolio assessments.

Quality Assurance Manager, Editorial Project Management, Harcourt e-Learning 
I performed quality assurance checks on distance learning courses (copy editing, HTML editing, and overseeing the fixes for courses). My duties quickly expanded into project management for over a dozen courses, over-seeing the development of online courses and their conversion in to multiple learning management systems (i.e., WebCT and Blackboard). 
 

  5-00 to 9-01 Consultant, Cal State Teach, CSU Monterey Bay 
I was hired as a copy editor and faculty trainer. I assisted in the development of online and hard-copy manuals and training materials. I am a co-author of the CalState Teach online technical manual.

  9-98 to 5-00 Tutor Trainer, Cal-SOAP 
Worked as a consultant for Cal-SOAP (California Student Opportunity and Access Program). Each semester I presented 2-3 seminars on tutoring for tutors new to the Cal-SOAP program which targets at-risk youth in the Junior High and High Schools.

  8-97 to 5-00 Lab Teaching Assistant, Santa Barbara City College 
My duties included; tutor training and supervision, training faculty in the Computer Aided Instruction Lab (in MS Word, DIWE, T-force 100, and general lab procedures), developing web sites for the LRC, assisting students and tutors in the labs. I also wrote manuals, kept class-related records, and developed promotional materials for the LRC and other departments. I was the LRC contact for Distance Learning and lead web developer for the Online Education Orientation web page.

  3-93 to 6-97 Special Education Aide, La Cumbre Middle School 
Assisted teacher in Special Ed. classroom, maintained student Special Ed. records, assisted Special Ed. students in computer lab.

  9-91 to 1-93 Substitute Teacher, San Francisco USD 
Implemented lesson plans in a wide variety of k-12 classroom settings.
