Career Highlights:

• University Secretary - My first career focus was secretarying in Universities (Nebraska, Vermont, San Francisco, CA)

• Haute Couture (high fashion) - I worked 2.5 decades (3-6 months/year) with a private designer on the West Coast of the U.S.A. in the unique tie-dyed silk (shibori) creations which sold for up to $1000/each.  I was President of the Corporation at one point.  I also assisted in the art-to-wear creation process.

• Grantwriting - I was one of three Directors of a grantwriting nonprofit organization in Grass Valley, California.

• E-commerce website design - The past couple years have been spent studying digital technology, e-commerce, small business management (particularly start-up financing), etc.

Hobbies & Other Eccentricities:

• Blues piano, jazz organ, reggae synthesizer

• The art of drawing and digital graphic design

• Japanese brush calligraphy

• French, Spanish and Japanese languages
