1) It is recommended that you uninstall any version of Countdown that currently have on your computer before installing the latest version.

Click Here to start the download. This is a 2.94 MB download and may take a long time.

Be sure that everything is checked as above and then click OK.

The download file is a compressed zip file named "cdown.zip." You will need an unzipping program like WinZip to open it up once it is downloaded.

A dialog box similar to the one above will open up. The file "cdown.zip" can be saved in any location on your computer. I like to create a folder to save in on the desktop.

4) Once the download is complete, extract the zip file into the folder in which it resides. For example, if it in a folder on your desktop named countdown, extract it to "c:\windows\desktop\countdown\." If you need instructions on how to extract a zip file, consult your unzipping program's help file.

5) Once the zip file is extracted, simply click the file named "setup.exe" and follow the on-screen instructions.

6) Once the program is loaded, you can run it by going to Start > Programs > Countdown.
