"Join the Neighborhood"(No longer available) Allows a homesteader to sign up and develop his or her homestead. Afterwards, the person may choose which neighborhood fits the theme of the web site.

Here's how it works. First you pick a neighborhood that best fits the content of your web site. For instance, PicketFence is themed towards home improvement, real estate, and gardening. Next the description lets you add up to 90 characters describing your web site. You can choose to receive the World Report. Final step is to check which topic best fits your web site. That's it! You're done.

New or old, I recommend you take time to go through the simple and quick process of "Join the Neighborhood". Your web site will then be generated into the Yahoo!Geocities search engine database. Make sure you have METATAGS within your HEAD TAG on each page.

"Recently Updated" Shows the visitor which sites have been recently updated.

"New Members" A listing of new members that have signed up in PicketFence. Stop by and say hello to your new neighbors!
