SoundFX and Theater Animations
Part of the joy of being in multimedia for so long is
being able to do things others believe are impossible.
I like performing magic with sounds and pictures.
It always adds to the theater going experience.
Here are a few examples of some soundFX and movies I've
produced for the stage as backgrounds.
1. Generic Disclaimer
Every theater should have one of these.
Tell the folks in the audience to silence all pagers and phones before the start of the show.
Good idea to repeat it during after intermission too.
Many people check their electronic leases during the break and forget to turn them back off.
2. Funny Disclaimer
Even better, make a disclaimer funny or part of the show!
3. Montage for 'Lucky Stiff'
'Lucky Stiff' a musical cross between "Weekend at Bernie's" and "Noises Off"
Very funny and good music.
They wanted me to create a montage of events in the background while the actors
performed some of them in front of the screen.
What we have here is a small sample of the five minute piece.
4. Nightmare Scene
In the same show we had to have a nightmare scene.
Again, here is a shorter version of the four minute piece.
Both animations were done w/ FinalCutPro and AfterEffects.
Two of my favorite pieces of software.
