There are very few beautiful places in the world where the people and lifestyle make you realize that all we know is immaterial. This is one of them. |
I talked to the cow, chased the chickens, hiked the mountain,
saw the waterfall, ate heaps, got up early and helped make the
bread. Great peaceful, beautiful place.
Lovely, friendly family. An experience I'll never forget. |

If you want to work up an appetite, I recommend visiting the bees making honey on the other side of the valley. |
A perfect place to experience and live the "real" Turkey. Hard to believe how peaceful a place can be. |

The hike; the sheer thrill of being alive; to sit down with friends under God's stars and contemplate both eternity and tomorrow. |
When I got to the top, I saw a couple of cows, a few goats and
muma cooking pitas on the barbie. I knew this place was going
to be good.
After a huge grazing on muma's food, I thought she and George would have to carry me to bed. |

Every nıght, the sunset was so diferent but always remarkable. After sunset, it was traditional for us to echo in the mountains. If you listen closely, you can hear yourself 3 times. |
Wake up, eat, sleep, play backgammon, eat, sleep, read, eat, play cards, sleep. Tomorrow's a whole new day. Life wasn't meant to be easy but I love it when it is. |

Enough food to plug a volcano, friendly locals and beer:
what more could you ask for?
As far as the climb is concerned, yer a bunch o' pansies... |
One of the greatest experiences when traveling is to come across small, out of the way spots like this where warm smiles and fantastic hospitality brings one that much closer to the local culture. |
