Falling From You

Am I falling from you
Or are we silently drifting apart?
I feel like I’ve nearly lost you
And choking tears rip open my heart.

Thoughts of you spill into the air
And are blown away by the breeze,
They have gone forever
And my mind cannot seize them.

I am falling from you,
But what can I do to make you catch me?

Everything is blurred before my eyes
As tears distort my melancholy view.
I am drowning in nothing
And my painful love for you.

Each sound merges into one long drone,
All my thought are woven together
So the memories of you
are tangled, hidden forever.

I am falling from you
And there is nothing I can do
To make you catch me.
