Dark Refrains

Alter Ego

Your spirit treads across my soul
Making ripples on my inner sea.
Let laughter guide you to my heart,
That’s my hiding place
Where I lock myself into the dark,
Where I dance with demons and angels,
Where you’ll find me and my alter-ego;
A sinful angel and the sweetest demon.

Let us take your heart and play with it,
Innocently twisting your mind.
Join our tormented game
Uniting Heaven and Hell
And dreams and reality
Until all your fantasies are possible.
Dance with me and my alter-ego;
A sinful angel and the sweetest demon,
And watch your dreams shatter before your eyes.
