A face in your nightmares that you cannot see,
An indescribable feeling that plagues every deed.
I am that nefarious being who you silently adore without ever meeting.
How you long for that virulent touch
Which will infect you to the core,
That poison which can burn away all your imperfections,
And though your wishes can be granted with a single breath
You dare not succumb to the raptured temptation.
I am the darkness that seeps into your soul,
How you are unaware that I manifest in you,
A shadow that will engulf all your light
