You’re The OneNext PoemI see you reflected in the water of the tears
beneath my eyes,
I hear you talking softly,
your voice floats through the skies.
When I lie in bed at night time and let the darkness in
The coldness covers me til I feel
your breath on my skin.
Your presence is like candle light
Turning harsh dark, soft and bright,
And as you move from place to place
The shadows reflect the different meanings of your face.
I think of you constantly,
You’re like alcohol or a drug,
I can feel your spirit moving inside me in my blood.
When I lie in bed at night time and let the darkness in
You’re the one that I can feel
