Dark Refrains

You glow from within me.
A warming being
Whose light fills every corner of my body and soul.
You make me shine
with a deep happiness
That wells up inside
And quenches all my needs.
You change me
And make all my inhospitabilities welcoming.
I have a paralysing fear
That I may loose your illuminating state
And I would return to my cold, bitter self.
