Thanks for viewing my Beatle Bubble Gum Card collection. When you select one of the thumbnail images from any of the calendars (links above), you'll be presented with a reproduction that is about 33% larger than the original card.

These cards came five to a pack for 5¢ with a rectangular stick of gum in addition to the card. Yes, there were plenty of duplicates which I traded to Cynthia, my best friend Thomas' older sister for her duplicates. Between buying and swapping, I was able to amass the entire series one collection of sixty pictures, black and white, numbered 1 to 60, which you'll see on this web site, one image each weekday. I stamped the date from April and May, 1965 on the backs of some of the series one cards, but now I recognize these pictures to be a year or more earlier than this. By August, 1965, their second film (the color film) Help! was in the theatres, and their hairstyles and manner of attire was a bit more mod or groovy than what we see in these photos. Even Brian Epstein couldn't keep them in jackets and ties that long. You should also note that each card bears a facsimile autograph in blue of one of the pictured lads from Liverpool.

There were two other series, also black and white, series two numbered 61 through 115, series three numbered 116 through 165. I will share these with you on these web pages. Although I have the entire first series, I am missing an occasional card from series two and three. I understand that they are available on e-bay, and other memorabilia sites, but I'm content with what I have.

Series one appears to be stock publicity pictures, both posed (see the excellent portraits of John and Paul on June 4th and 5th) as well as candids and posed candids (June 2nd, 3rd and 6th).

Below you'll see the reverse side of each series reproduced. You'll see that series one was printed in blue and identified as "#n in a series of 60 photos". The second series, printed in orange/red, was identified with "2ND SERIES (#61 THROUGH #115) NO. nnn and the copywright, while the third series, printed in green, was identified with "3RD SERIES (#116 THROUGH #165) NO. nnn and the copywright.
