| SHU-A2-GS Assignment 2 Steps for uploading webpage: 1. Turn on your computer. 2. Click your web browser. 3. Enter angelfire’s URL. 4. Go to “log in” and click on it. 5. Enter your directory name and password. 6. Once logged in, select the name of the file you chose for your assignment page, i.e. Assignments.html. 7. Highlight it by clicking on it once and then click edit right above it. 8. This should bring you to basic editor. 9. Move your cursor all the way down to Step 9: Create Text Block. 10. After the symbol <p> (which stands for paragraph in html format) enter your text, in this case assignment 2. 11. At the end of each step or sentence, in order to change paragraphs you need to put the symbol <p> and not push “enter” because the text is displayed in html format. 12. Last thing to do in the text area is to enter the symbol <hr> in order to get a horizontal line at the end of your assignment. 13. When finished go to save at the bottom of the page and click on it. 14. Once you have saved the document, it will bring you back to basic editor where you need to highlight the same name as you did in step 6. 15. When highlighted click view and see if your uploading was successful. 16. Good luck!!! |
