2- 2 1/2” nozzles
Fire Gear Needed:
Boots and Helmet
Number of People:
Six (6)
The hose and nozzles are to be
set up in the equipment area located at the hose line. The hose and nozzles may
be set up any way the team chooses, however no equipment may be pre-connected.
Upon the start signal from the judge, the team members will go to the hose line
and pick up the hoses and nozzles, assemble them and advance the first nozzle to
the finish line, while connecting it to the hydrant. After the first nozzle has
crossed the finish line the team will disconnect the middle section of hose from
the hose that is closest to the hydrant and connect the 2nd section
consisting of 2 –50’ sections of 2 ½” hose and a nozzle. This nozzle must
also cross the finish line. Time is
stopped when both nozzles and all six (6) team members are across the finish
line. If a piece of equipment becomes disconnected the team may go back and
reconnect and proceed back across the finish line.
