Fire Gear Needed: Helmet, Coat, Pants, Boots, and Gloves

Object: To get
dressed, get on the engine, and advance a 150’ 1 ½” pre-connected line to
knock down three (3) spot fires in the proper order.
Team members will start lying on the cots. Time starts at
the judge’s whistle. Each team member will put on their turnout gear and
advance to their designated spot on the engine. Pants must have D-ring clipped .
Bunker coats must have 3 rings clipped or zippered. Each team member must be fully
dressed before getting on the engine. Individuals do not have to wait on their
team members to get on the engine. The Officer of the engine will sound the
siren when everyone is seated. When the siren is sounded the team will turn on
the water and advance the pre-connected hose line to knock over in order the
three (3) spot fires. A two (2) second
penalty will be assessed if the siren is blown before everyone is seated.
