Lesbians of Colour, New Orleans (LOCNO) is an email discussion group for Sapphics of Creole, African, Asian, Latina and Native American Heritage. Topics of conversation cover everything from society and politics to romance and family.
LOCNO Group was created especially for coloured Sistahs "in the life". Communication and community with other Lesbians, chatting about Life in general in the Big Easy, is what this group is all about. Not personal ads. We are REAL Lesbians of Colour, REAL New Orleans Ebony Sapphics, making REAL friends.
The current social landscape of our Urbania makes it difficult for Sistahs like us to connect. There many wonderful groups out there answering the call to bring LOC's together but only three exist locally for the Crescent City. LOCNO endeavors to build a central localized internet community.
