When I first became acquainted with The Beatles, I probably liked John the least, but before long I got to liking him even more than Paul; his crazy sense of humor and witty remarks could win anybody over. And that's not even saying anything about his music.
In the late-1950's, John formed the Quarrymen, a Liverpool skiffle group that would eventually evolve into the world's greatest rock group - The Beatles. John wrote some of The Beatles' most memorable songs, like "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds," "Help!" "Come Together," and the immortal message of "All You Need is Love," to name a mere few. After the breakup of The Beatles in 1970, he went on to record even more classic anthems, such as "Give Peace A Chance," "Instant Karma!" and--of course--"Imagine."
Sadly, John was murdered in 1980, but his message of Peace and Love is one which extends far beyond the mere borders of mortality, and continues to touch the lives of those who hear it today.
"We've got this gift of Love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep on watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it."

You don't need anyone to tell you who you are. You are what you are. Get out there and get peace, think peace and live peace and breathe peace, and you'll get it as soon as you like."
