In October and November 2003, I sent emails to the US NSA, and to the secretariat at the Baha'i World Center, saying that Dermod is a friend of mine, and asking if there have been any statements from any Baha'i institutions, explicitly about him, that I should know about. The response from the secretariat said that he is no longer a member of the Baha'i community, and that he has long exhibited highly critical attitudes toward the institutions of the Faith. There was no mention of Covenant breaking. As of January 30, 2004, I have seen no other statement about him, specifically, from any Baha'i institution.
