In October and November 2003, I sent emails to the US NSA, and to the secretariat at the Baha'i World Center, saying that Karen is a friend of mine, and asking if there have been any statements from any Baha'i institutions, explicitly about her, that I should know about. The response from the secretariat said that she is no longer a member of the Baha'i community, that she has long exhibited highly critical attitudes toward the institutions of the Faith, and that she manifests a deep-seated antagonism toward the institutions of the Faith. There was no mention of Covenant breaking. As of January 30, 2004, I have seen no other statement about her, specifically, from any Baha'i institution.
