The well-known puzzle is simple. Freeze the water in the jugs. Take the ice from the jugs and put it into the barrel. You will be able to tell which water came from which jug. In my variant, the water is frozen in only one container only (sadly, the fish dies). Both buckets are emptied into the barrel. The frozen one floats as an iceberg. I catch the fish that is swimming in the water. |
