Gerald E. McDougall Jr.
 

 

Gerald Everett McDougall Jr., a computer production control specialist and
former Stamford resident, died Monday, Sept. 16, at Carle Foundation
Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. He was 26.

He died of injuries sustained in a traffic accident, according to his family.

Born July 12, 1976, in Stamford, he was a son of Diane Uva and
Gerald E. McDougall Sr. of Stamford.

Mr. McDougall worked at Amdocs International in Champaign, Ill.,
where he played on a number of company sports teams.

He graduated from Stamford High School and attended Norwalk
Community College.  At the time of his death, he was student at
the Parkland College in Champaign.

Growing up in Stamford, Mr. McDougall played Stamford Youth
Hockey.  He also played softball in Stamford and around Fairfield County.

He is survived by his maternal grandmother, Cecelia Fragomell Uva of
Stamford; a maternal great-grandmother, Antoinette D'Onofrio Uva of
Stamford; a brother Darryl M. McDougall of Stamford; four sisters,
Jessica McDougall and Elaine McDougall, both of Stamford,  and
Geraldine Jackman and Elise Frangione, both of Sandy Hook; and
four nieces and three nephews.
