Christmas Bells
This tutorial was written for PSP 7 & 8
and is also suitable for beginners.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

VM Toolbox -

NOTE: Right - click on the zip
file.
Choose the 'Extract to here' - option in
the drop-down menu
to open the file.
DO NOT click directly with the left mouse button
on
the downloaded zip file. Lycos will only show
an empty folder if you do that. :))
Save the 'klokkengerda'- selection
in your PSP Selections file.
Use images of your own choice.
Step1
Open
Open a new transparent image, size 500 x
500 pixels.
Go to Selections --> Load Selection from
Disk.
find the 'klokkengerda' - selection and click ok.
Your foreground color should be on the gold pattern.
Fill with the gold pattern.
Go to Selections-->
Modify --> Contract by 5.
Press the delete key on your keyboard.
Go to Selections-->
Invert
Effects --> 3D Effects --> Inner Bevel.
Apply with these
settings:
Bevel - round / 8 / 40/2/0/10
Angle - 153/ 70/25
Go to Selections --> Invert.
Keep selected :))
Step 2
Change the foreground color to red, or any
color
you wish to use for the bells.
Fill the selection with the color.
Go to Effects --> Filter Effects --> VM Toolbox -->
Brightness Noise
Brightness 58 ( or as you prefer)
Apply Effetcs --> 3D Effects --> Inner
Bevel, with these settings:
Bevel - round / 8 / 40/2/0/10
Angle 153 70/25
Deselect ( Selections --> Select None).
Step 3
Add your watermark or text.
Layers --> Merge --> Merge Visible.
Step 4
Go to Edit --> Copy.
Open Animation Shop (AS).
Edit --> Paste - as new animation.
Right-click with your mouse in this frame.
A dropdown menu will open.
Choose the 'Duplicate Selected'- option.
Click in the second clock-frame to activate it.
Now go to "Animation" ( top toolbar).
Choose 'Mirror' in the dropdown menu.
Go to Edit --> Select All
( both frames will be highlighted in blue)
Right-click on the frames and
choose the'Frames Properties' option.
( or you can use ALT + Enter on your keyboard)
Fill in 65 in the 'Display Time' window.
To view the animation, go to
the top toolbar and click on this icon below:
A little window will open with the animation.
If you like it, just click on the icon again to stop it.
Now you can save your image as a gif file.
Easy and fun!! :))
