Bob's CV19 Bob's Glastron CV19 sat ticking over, on the water during summer 2000. The boat is 19ft long and power is from a 6.3 litre Chrysler V8 developing around 300hp driving a Hamilton 770 jet unit.
The drive water is drawn in through an opening in the bottom of the hull and ejected at high speed, by a screw like impeller, from a steerable nozzle protruding from the transom.
Rear view of CV19 A rear view of the CV19, engine still running, showing the original interior on this 1974 boat.
In 1973 a boat exactly the same as this was used in the boat chase sequence of the James Bond film 'Live and Let Die'.
Initially Bond hi-jacked a Glastron GT150 (see below) then after Sheriff J.W.Pepper had holed the engine block, with a bullet, Bond transferred to the CV19.
Following the purchase of his new ski boat, Bob is now selling the CV19 so drop me a line if you are interested.
