nelly driving.

It was that time of year again. September was here and we were off to Windermere for the 3rd yearly Jolly Boy's Outing.

Format was, to travel the 170 miles or so from 9am, get there around dinner, check in to the holiday park and straight on the water for session 1 till tea time.

The plan went perfectly and the water conditions were very reasnable too. It was mine and Graham's first tow on our new skis, a Connely F3 and an HO ASX respectively.

the truck. Sad, Nelly, Graham and myself travelled in Bob's truck towing the boat and Bob was to come down mid week to join the fun.

He failed to make it in the end, due to his work, but the use of his truck and boat were ample compensation.

This is a pic of the truck outside our accomodation.

twoup. The wind was often blowing straight down the lake but the sheltered bays along the shoreline provided us with useable water most of the time.

This is a shot of me on my slalom ski and Sad on the wakeboard skiing back to the cabin after an afternoons skiing up the north end of the lake near Low Wood.

hangon. Hmmmm. Sad (left) and Graham hanging off the swim platform at 25mph.

walk. And out in the Langdales. This walk was to about 1000ft up Stickle Gill to Stickle Tarn.
