It was that time of year again. September was here and we were off to Windermere for the 3rd yearly Jolly Boy's Outing.
Format was, to travel the 170 miles or so from 9am, get there around dinner, check in to the holiday park and straight on the water for session 1 till tea time.
The plan went perfectly and the water conditions were very reasnable too. It was mine and Graham's first tow on our new skis, a Connely F3 and an HO ASX respectively.
He failed to make it in the end, due to his work, but the use of his truck and boat were ample compensation.
This is a pic of the truck outside our accomodation.
This is a shot of me on my slalom ski and Sad on the wakeboard skiing back to the cabin after an afternoons skiing up the north end of the lake near Low Wood.
