Name:Paula Age:12 or 13 Hometown:Twoson Family Relations:her mom and dad Weapon:Frying Pan Description:Paula's family runs a preschool out of their home, and Paula is adored by all the little children. Unlike Ness, Paula's psychic abilities are widely known and reporters are always after her for the story. She's very trusting to ANYONE, and gets random psychic premonitions. Her liability is low HP and her 'damsel-in-distress- factor: she gets kidnapped at least twice.

Name:Ness Age:13 Hometown:Onett Family Relations:His Mom, Sister Tracey, and his mysterious dad Weapon:Baseball Bat Description:Ness is the main character. (Duh, why else would he be first?) He is normal except for one thing: he's not. He has strange "powers", and seems to be able to do, um, psychic stuff. He leads a normal life until a giant meteorite (okay, a small one) falls and crashes in his town. From within it comes Buzz Buzz, a mysterious hero from the future trying to thwart Giygas's invasion. His weakness is his tendency to get homesick.

Name:Jeff Andonuts Age:13 Hometown:Winters Family Relations:Dr. Andonuts Weapon:Guns Description:Sleeping one night, Jeff recieved Paula's psychic distress call. He must be pretty trusting too, because he left Winters in a flying saucer to save them. Jeff is a stereotypical genius, using broken items, and maiking them powerful weapons. His weakness is the fact that he has no psychic powers. Aside from that, he's pretty good.

Name:Poo   (snicker) Age:14 Hometown:Dalaam Family Relations:none known, possibly his Master. Weapon:Sword Description:Poo is a noble Prince from the far east, joining Ness because, well, his master told him to. He also has psychic powers, and uses them well. He learns really fast, and his only weakness is: he has only ONE weapon...The Sword of Kings.

Name:Buzz Buzz Role:The Insect Hero Description:Buzz Buzz comes from ten years in the future to inform Ness that all hell has broken loose. Giygas has ordered bad nachos, and ShinRa has....just kidding. Giygas did bad stuff. Buzz Buzz fought back by starting Ness on his quest. He basically killed the first boss, Starman Jr, for you, then conveniently got killed by Lardna Minch. Why does this always happen to omnipotent guys??

Name:Pokey Minch Role:The Fat Idiot Description:Pokey is Ness's fat, stupid neighbor. No one likes him, and he is a coward at heart. Giygas takes advantage of this by making Pokey his pawn. Though you never have to fight Pokey until the very end, you constantly encounter him, usually in the service of somebody possessing the Mani Mani Statue. Is Pokey misundertstood? No. He's fat.

Name:Dad Role:The 'You wanna save and quit?' guy Description:Ness's Dad is a mystery in himself. Some say he is Buzz Buzz, some say he is Ninten from EB0. Whoever he is, he's invaluable. He gives you all your money, and saves your game for you. What a great....telephone?

Name(s):The Runaway Five Role:The Jazz Group in Distress Description:Wherever there's a theater, there is the Runaway Five, usually cheated by the theater owner(s). Your job is to gain a large amount of cash, always an object worth their exact debt, and free them. Why? So you can ride in their funky van! Outta my way, sidewalk!!

Name:Apple Kid Role:The Inventor Description:Apple Kid (coincidentally) makes some sort of gadget that you can use for the exact purpose you need, at just the right time. Zombie trouble? He invents Zombie paper, of course! God, where were you when brains were passed out?

Name:Dr. Andonuts Role:The Scientist Description:Dr. Andonuts isn't much of a father. He hasn't seen Jeff in ten years, then dismisses him like "oh well". He can, however, invent. Yes, he invents a flying saucer that always crashes, and a time machine that kills you if you use it. yeah, but you gotta admire him, right??

Name:Giygas Role:The Universal Cosmic Destroyer Description:"Giygas sent all to the horror of eternal darkness." -Buzz Buzz. Yes, we don't know the motive behind Giygas's plan, but we do know this. He's not nice. Kill him while you can...

Name:Mani Mani Statue Role:Embodiment of Evil (shiny!) Description:It is just a coincedence that the Mani Mani is in possession of anyone who ever goes wrong in EarthBound. No. First dug up by Lier X. Agerate in Onett, it was sold to Carpainter, then Everdred stole it, then Monotoli stole it from him. And guess who is also there the whole time. Yes, it's Pokey. The work of Giygas, no?

Name:Mr. Saturn Role:Pink Guys Description::The Mr. Saturns are an intriguing race of people with huge noses. They are little pink dudes with big noses, hair bows and feet. They live in Saturn Valley, and ...get kidnapped by piles of barf. Yes, and now you must save them! Boing!

Name:New Age Retro Hippies Role:The Coolest Enemies Ever Description:These guys are cool, purely because they are hippies. Hahahaha!
