Character Profiles: Wild ARMs

Name:Rudy Roughnight Job:Dream Chaser Hometown:Unknown, starts in Surf Village Tools:Bombs, Radar, Skates, Punch Glove Description:Rudy, like most of the PSX heroes I've encountered, is silent. He speaks a total of two times in the entire game. He seems to have trouble fitting in with people, especially since he uses an ARM. He seems to have a prospective romance with Jane.

Name:Cecilia Lynn Adlehyde Job:Princess of Adlehyde/ Crest Sorceress Hometown:Adlehyde Tools:Tear Drop, Watch, Wand, Vase Description:Cecilia, like all RPG princesses, is absolutely vital to the plot, and/or the survival of the world. She is the Innocent One, the one to which Filgaia's Guardians speak, and the possessor of the Tear Drop, which is more than just a family heirloom. When the Metal Demons attack and demand the Tear Drop be turned over to them, Cecilia, in true princess fashion, turns it over "to save her people". This, of course, results in a whole bunch of bad crap that includes the Demon Queen being unsealed, all of which would have not happened, had Cecilia remained in her room. Well, at least she's a determined to get it back...

Name:Jack Van Burace (Garrett) Job:Dream Chaser, Treasure Hunter Hometown:Arctica Tools:Hanpan, Lighter, Grapple, Guitar Description:Jack is the carefree, loner treasure hunter, which of course means he is hiding a tragic past. Sure enough, he's seeking revenge against the demons before Rudy and Cecilia even know who they are. But Jack provides some humor, especially in scenes with Hanpan, his Wind Mouse companion, who is sadly, smarter than Jack.

Name:Emma Job:ARMs Meister, Professor Hometown:Adlehyde Description:Emma is hailed as the eccentric professor all around Adlehyde. Many people fear her crazy experiments, but she just wants to find things out. She does come off as a little self absorbed ("The two things that this world can't live without are love of Filgaia and my technology!") but she's essential to your quest, at some point. Hey, she builds the Protowing, doesn't she?

Name:"Calamity" Jane Maxwell Job:Dream Chaser, Treasure Hunter Hometown:Milama Village, Court Seim Description:Jane is unimaginably cool. She shows, for one, that RPG females aren't helpless! Plus, her theme music kicks @$$. She goes around looking for treasure, to help fund an orphanage that her father runs. She'll shoot anything that seems suspicious, and provides a lot of the game's humor. Plus, she's in love with Rudy...

Name:Bartholomew Job:Captain of the trade ship "Sweet Candy" Hometown:Port Timney Description:Bartholomew has a constant rivalry with another sailor, Drake. And he tends to speak before thinking. This results in a few funny scenes, such as the fake wedding between him and Cecilia. He loves his ship, the "Sweet Candy", and he's majorly afraid of heights. But, he's pretty helpful.

Name:Nicholi Maxwell Job:ARMs Meister Hometown:Milama Village, Court Seim Description:Nicholi is Jane's caring father. The Maxwell family used to live in Milama, but after Nicholi used up most of their money taking care of orphans, they moved to the distant backwater village of Court Seim. There he takes care of orphaned children. He also trained under Zepet Roughnight, Rudy's grandpa.

Villains

Name:Zeikfried Job:Quarter Knights Leader Description:Zeikfried is leader of the Quarter Knights, a group of Metal Demons trying to take over Filgaia. At first, they just want to rule Filgaia as their new home, because their old planet Hiades was blown up, but after a while he ends up wanting to destroy it like all other RPG villains. He also ends up turning against the Demon Queen, Mother.

Name:Belselk Job:Quarter Knight Description:Belselk is an arrogant, evil, slimy, Demon. He thinks that humans are unimaginably weak, and tries several times to prove it. However, the heroes, with a little help from Calamity Jane and Boomerang, kill him in the Volcannon Trap.

Name:McDullen Job:Calamity Jane's assistant Hometown: Court Seim Description:McDullen is some bald guy (reminds of a stereotypical butler) who travels with Jane on her expeditions and seems to care deeply for her. He is always with her.

Name:Zepet Roughnight Job:ARMs Meister Hometown:Unknown Description:Rudy's grandpa, who also happens to be the ARMs Meister of all ARMs Meisters---he trained Nicholi Maxwell, Emma, and possibly Rudy. He is only seen in flashbacks, as he is deceased before the game begins.

Name:Alhazad Job:Quarter Knight Description:Hailed by my friends and I as "the flying cow", Alhazad shows up to mock the heroes for a long time before they ever get to fight him. He seems to have the hots for Lady Harken and is constantly hitting on her, which is disturbing, because, hey, he's a flying cow. He is also the demon that killed most of the Fenril Knights of Arctica.

Name:Lady Harken Job:Quarter Knight Description:This demon is a user of the <Fast Draw> techniques like Jack, and seems to be the object of Alhazad's advances. *shudder* She isn't what she seems....
