I have just started researching the family history. None of the names I have been seeing look familiar yet. I was hoping you may have discarded info from my line. My name is Tom Benner, I'm in Bay City, Mi. My dad was Donald, his dad was Elmer Lloyd Benner of Souix Falls, SD. His dad was John Benner (place of birth unknown), and he married Bessie Stone. His mother
was Emma Elizabeth Gimlin. Unfortunately, that is as far as I have gotten, and there are no family members that I can turn to (that I am aware of).
Note: I think my grandmother was hiding what she thought might be some embarassing info, so she wasn't more forthcoming.
